We are looking for one or a couple of employees for the summer of 2024. Mainly between the period 1/6 – 31/8 but with the possibility of extension.
What we are looking for are 1-2 happy people who can work about 5 days a week between about 10-18.
You will participate in the activities and learn both horses, roads and our routines before you can hold your own tours. Working here means intensive days with lots of people on the move. The riding is only a small part of the job as there is a lot to be taken care of around the rides with the horses, mocking and cleaning and so on.
You who are applying are positive and have a pedagogical attitude combined with an overview and patience. You love to ride in wind, rain and sunny greenery. You have a horse's eye and always want the animal well. You can work independently and have a safety mindset.
Applicants need to have very good knowledge and experience in riding and handling horses, preferably Icelandic horses.
A big advantage is if you live in the local area and have a driver's license.
It is possible to bring your own Icelandic horse and accommodation.
We have a maximum weight of 85kg.
From 18 years.
