"Jauvika is one of Fårö's and Gotland's most genuine fishing villages - larger in scope than the more famous Helgumannen."
Lauter fishing village is located at the far end of the bay between Lauterhorn and Gamlehamn and was the center of intensive herring and salmon fishing from the 1920s to the 1950s.
Consists of about 30 sheds, a saltery and six piers.
