This page has been created to fill a need that has been noticed on Fårö.
The need that has emerged is information and a gathering place for all this information.
The information we are thinking of is everything from "Where can I refuel / charge the car?", "What rules apply during a fire ban?", "When and where is my meeting? and the most important question… "What is open in winter?".
The website is a creation of David Ruthström and will initially only be run by him, but hopefully the project will grow and be able to offer one or more jobs locally on Fårö.
Even though the website is created by a man, it is considered to belong to the island of Fårö and will therefore always be handled with a focus on the island's development, community and sustainability.
The business plan for faro.se will therefore also be simple. By offering and searching for all possible information that may be needed for residents and visitors, a perfect platform is created for entrepreneurs on Fårö to integrate with customers without spending the shirt on marketing and thus be able to flourish more on the island.
