Hammar's fishing village
If you continue the road past Verka's landing, you will come to Hammar's beautifully situated fishing village. Here are two stone sheds from the 19th century and a preserved guest house surrounded by carefully laid stone barrels. Closer to the water is a wooden beach hut next to the towed boats.
Hammers cliffs
A little further on, the road ends abruptly at the stone yard towards Hammar's cliffs. It is a popular beach environment with smooth slabs and smaller rauks where it is possible to swim and sunbathe. The location is a nice option if you want to get away from the more visited beaches for a while.
It is possible to get up to Hammarsgårdarna and out on Dämbavägen via a small forest road just before you reach Hammar's cliffs.
