Fårö's own football pitch since the 60's!

At first the plan was where the current paddle course is located, but after a few years the plan was moved to where it is now. They also had home-made football goals in the beginning, but were sponsored by Ingmar Bergman in the early 70's for real goals.

When Fårö got its football pitch, a tradition was also started. "Fårö against the tourists" (Or "badjävlarna" as some said) which continued into the 2000s.

In today's situation, the pitch is used by many, but especially a lot during Fårö Football School, which takes place every week week 28.
